Well, its been a while since my last post. For anyone that checks regularly (not many of you!
I apologize. There is a long line of excuses but I’ve just been doing other things. Mostly travel, enjoying weekends, and spending my computer time either processing new pictures or playing on flickr. I’m shocked at myself for how much I’ve enjoyed playing with that site…. anyway, here are a couple shots from the past couple weeks I thought I would share.
Erika has been on fire in the kitchen lately, (not literally). This little dish included cheesy shrimp stuff stuffed in roasted peppers… YUMMM!
Erika, Breanna and I attended ‘Luck of the Draw’, a charity art and entertainment festival here in Capitol Riverfront that featured some of the new buildings being built and had live music, free/donation suggested drinks and an all around good time. The third image is from the courtyard of the new Onyx building nearby. It’s grounds are inlaid with blue lights which makes for a really cool effect.
The Porsche had its first negative DC street parking experience when someone rubbed the rear bumper (cleaned off a small spot). No note….
No Rules is wrapped up for the winter. Erika and I took a Valentines Day road trip to the scene of our wedding at the marina, enjoyed some Davis’s Pub lunch and wine tasted at Wine Cellars of Annapolis – a really nice day.
One night last night, taking advantage of the ‘indian summer’ like conditions Erika, Knish and I walked around the tidal basin including a pit stop here at the FDR Memorial.
Ever wonder what a Polarizing Filter does w/ photography? (or in sunglasses for that matter). The one on the left is without, the right is with. Note also what it does to the sky!
A couple more that I liked to wrap up. Nothing particularly special except that all four were taken within a 10 min walk of my place. As usual I’ll try to do better on my posts…
