I’m sitting at Logan Airport waiting for my flight home to DC and I have to say that even though I was in meetings for 100% of daylight hours and even some after dark I thoroughly enjoyed the entire travel experience.
Not to demean my normal travel destinations (Pittsfield, MA – Mobile, AL – Marinette, WI) but the hourly US Air Shuttle service from DCA to Logan is awesome. So is automatic upgrades to first class!
Thank you ’silver status’!!! Also Boston, especially in the financial district is a great business location, very impressive looking city with so many bars, restaurants and shopping venues its tough to pick one!
Unfortunatly I didn’t get the opportunity to take any great classic Boston pictures, I did play around with my new-to-me 55mm Micro lens. It is a specialty lens for taking extreme close up pictures. Here’s one in particular that I liked of the curtains in my hotel room…
Speaking of hotel rooms, my one gripe (you knew that was coming)… Why do the highest end Marriots (Reneissance and etc…) which cost the most $$$ make wi-fi or plug-in internet a paid option while your Courtyard and Residence Inn Marriots make it a standard feature at no extra charge. The Boston Reneissance Marriot is also one of the few places I’ve found so far that the verizon broadband card is useless. Great trip though, I hope everyone has their plans set for the 1:00PM Sunday VT-BC ACC Championship game… GO HOKIES GO HOKIES GO HOKIES!!!
