So its not just a metro stop guys… at 7th and North Carolina SE there actually is a food Market.  It is pretty sweet too, I’m still jealous of the Strip District in Pittsburgh of course for shear scale and variety but this place has 2-3 good looking butchers, a bunch of fresh produce and a great cheese booth.

Erika and I went by for the first time today, got a medely of vegetables and a cut of skirt steak for a fajitas style dinner.  It was pretty good, and I got to take my cast iron skillet (thanks Krissy!) for a second go-around. I think it will soon become my skillet of choice.

The ‘South Hall’ is the actual market right now, it is across the street from the historic building which is under construction.  Reason #39 to come check out DC!
